when someone has been unhoused for two years fours years or more it might not be unusual

shelter for 8 months

The "Homeless" system

which means in order to become recognized as a homeless person you you have to go through the shelters

Even though I knew

how long I have been homeless

So when I

was in the shelter I was told that I was not a chronically homeless person
