On a day like today

 We were practicing 

Baton

 Twirling 

We marched in parades

 I was a flag girl

In the sheldon complex

 Parking lot 

I was in the drum and bugle corps

 And we practiced 

Joni and Marcus

 Lamb 

Just one more

 Thing 

When they didn't say flour

 I was like huh 

I done had to go back to the bakery

 To refresh my mind on how to make peanut butter cookies
